Situated along the banks of the beautiful Rock River, in Rockford, Illinois, Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens brings the tropics to the Midwest. The facility, owned and operated by the Rockford Park District, is the third largest conservatory in Illinois, offering an 11,000-square-foot plant exhibition area complete with water features, seating areas, and sculptures, all in a tropical plant setting.
The Conservatory needed to refresh their facility map brochure to better reflect their organization in 2019 and beyond. The brochure and map was originally designed in 2015, and they wanted me to simplify the visual language, update information, and give it an eye-catching look for Conservatory visitors for years to come.
